When people think of Disney, they usually see dollar signs. And it’s not dollar signs coming at you, they are leaving you. My family and I recently returned from Walt Disney World and while we were there, I wanted to do something different and fun, but that didn’t cost much.

When we first started into Epcot, my mother-in-law and I noticed a sign that said, “Make this holiday season sweeter than usually and indulge in this year’s Holiday Cookie Stroll!” We were instantly intrigued because we both love cookies! We continued reading and found out that if you bought 5 specific cookies from different country pavilions, then you could get a 6th cookie free with an ice cold glass of milk! We both decided that we absolutely had to get in on this. And the best part was was that each cookie was $2.50!

The first cookie that we bought was the Linzer Cookie found in the Germany pavilion. It is a yummy sandwich cookie that has raspberry jam in the middle of it and is then dusted with powder sugar on the top. It was wonderful! Since this was our first cookie that we purchased, they gave us a passport. Every time you bought one of the five cookies you could have them stamp it for you.

The next cookie that we purchased was called The Black and White Cookie. It was found in the France Pavilion. This was my favorite cookie out of all of them! It was a fluffy cookie that was iced half black and half white. The black side was of course, chocolate and the white side was lemon. It was to die for!! I loved how light and airy it was. It wasn’t too overpowering on either flavor.

The third cookie was pretty adorable. It was the gingerbread man from the America Pavilion. There wasn’t anything special about the taste, but it was pretty cute and simple.

The fourth cookie was a Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie. This was found in the Canada Pavilion. It was a cute red and white pinwheel cookie that had green sprinkles around the edge. The flavor was so yummy and gave you the feel of Christmas in your mouth. The only problem that I had with it was that it was kind of hard.

The fifth cookie was The Chocolate Crinkle Cookie. It was found in the Feast of the Three Kings Plaza. I loved the texture of this cookie. It was a soft and chewy, chocolatey cookie with powdered sugar in all of the crinkles. I think this was my husband’s favorite cookie out of all of them.

After we bought all 5 cookies, we took our passports to the nearest stand that sold cookies and we were able to get a 6th cookie for free. It was giant sugar cookie that was in the shape of a Mickey Head. The ears were dipped in chocolate and then on top was a chocolate Santa hat. My kids flipped over this one! My baby had to get her hands on this one just because it was in the shape of Mickey.

We really enjoyed participating in the Holiday Cookie Stroll. It was an activity that was fairly affordable and we were able to taste different cookies from around the world.
